Default NB 996 Moving up to 18" wheels

I'm looking into replacing the stock 17" wheels on my NB 2002 996. I found 18" Turbo Twists that I'm interested in but I'm not sure they'll fit under my fenders. The fronts are 18x8 ET50 , and the rears are 18x11 ET45. What do you guys think?

BTW the PO lowered the car when he installed coil overs.

The manual lists wheel sizes that fit in the back.

I have 18s on my 2001, but they are 18x7.5 and 18x10, respectively.

Fronts are fine. The 18x11 et45 are for the turbo or C4s. I think it will be too aggressive.
You may be better of getting 18x10 et65 (stock size for 18").

You can also fit GT3 sizes: 18x11 et63 but you may have to roll your fenders.

I have Carrera IV from a 2009 C2: 18x8 et57 with 7mm spacer and rears are 18x10.5 et 60. Fits great.

Lots of options out there!

The fronts will be fine but the rears will DEFINITELY not fit. There is absolutely no way to make them work so do not buy them! The rear offset is only for widebody cars only (turbo,gt2, c4s). If you try to put those on you narrow body 996 the actual rim (without the tire) will stick out about 1/2" past the fenders. The turbo twist design has an appropriate offset for the narrow body design; you need the 10" width.

I have factory turbo twists that came on my narrow-body 996. They're sitting in my garage and I'd be interested in selling them if you want them. They have N-rated continental contisportcontact 2's but the rears need to be replaced soon. not bald, but need replacing soon. Color crests included. these are the correct sizes and offsets. 8" front and 10" widths.

Thanks! I love these wheels. I kept them because they came on my car from the factory and I didn't think I should sell them after buying the lightweights in my avatar. I was going to ship them with my car to Montreal and use them in the winter, but I decided I couldn't live without seeing the car in my garage every morning.

I'll be selling these Sport Classic II wheels as soon as I have a minute to get my new ones mounted. They're 18x 7.5 and 18x10. Just in case you're interested.

I'd love to sell him my wheels, but I think the best looking oem wheels are the lightweights on my car in my avatar, sport designs and your sport classics (not in that order). On a dark color 996 I think the sport classics look really sharp.

I'm actually selling my Sport Classics because I found a set of lightweights. They're my favorite factory wheel also. They just came back from powdercoat on Friday.
