Crested mats are so 1980, and factory mats are expensive and do not hold up very well.

I went old-school with a set of black Cocomats with dark red Dots. They are well-made and fit perfectly. They really look great in the black interior. Several people have bought sets after seeing them.

Get the originals from the guy in SC. He bought the old company and has a specific pattern for every car going back to the '60s. When I asked for mats to fit a 2002 Carrera, he asked, "coupe, targa, or cabriolet?"

+1 I went with grey dots and they brightened up the interior.
Very heavy duty good quality mats.

Its always odd on forums... Someone will ask "where do I get XYZ" and people will jump in with 'dont buy that', 'buy this instead', etc. So odd to me... Personally i really dont like aftermarket floormats (esp those linked), but of course this is subjective. If someone were asking specifically for those, though, I wouldnt jump in and try to convince them that they shouldnt want to buy them! LOL

For the OP, there's always eBay (and this listing actually seems to be cheaper than those coco mats)

MLambert890 - what did you add to the discussion? Hostility? Whining?

Thanks.

Ralph,

I think MLambert was just trying to say that Tim was looking for crested floor mats and some people were trying to lead him another direction. That's all. MLambert did provide a post for the crested floor mats that Tim was looking for.........

LOL, at least you don't have to worry about them getting caught on the accelerator pedal and causing unintended acceleration.

How thick are the those BTW, any chance or denting them if you had a heavy friend plop down his feet on those or a nice gal with some stilletto pumps? Curious...

Rennspeed track mats. They are very sturdy and about 1/16" thick I would say. They do not move around at all and low maintenance. They are great for track use, will never wear out, easy to clean and great for snow and bad weather. Personally, I like them and they go great with my arctic silver center console.
