Pushing others to become members is lame too.

I was going to buy a set from a member from a member, Aslan, over at 6 Speed. Those are the Orciari seatback covers, which are now discontinued.

Unfortunately for Aslan, and for myself, if you have the Sport Seats with the elephant ears already built into the seats, then these seat backs won't work. :-(

Aslan's got a set of these covers in speed yellow if anyone is interested.

I pinged Orciari, and Matteo Orciari was were nice enough to send me the instructions to install them.

Here are my sport seat (which the Orciari will not fit), just so you know what I'm speaking about when I talk about elephant ears....

I have the regular seats so these will work (I bought his and they arrived today.).

It is not hard for you to remove your seat backs to get them painted. I have done it several times. Mine go to paint in a few days.

Will post Cheesy pictures when done

Heck yeah. What do I have to lose. I have a good friend that has a body shop and he will paint for $0 and the "ears" needed to be dyed gray and I have that dye. Did those this afternoon. I think it will look good. Did a test fit and they look great (other than they are yellow (maybe right for a Michigan fan)).

For $200 it is worth a try If you find them used but at the full price of almost $900, I'd much rather get some aftermarket sport seats. Good idea for an upgrade but too much money for just updated backrests.

Matt, I agree. When they were on Ebay they were no where near as costly. You can get a set of sports seats from 1500-2000 easy
