Hey guys, any idea what this connector is for? Popped out from the center console.

It's the mobile phone connector. It's frequently used for aux power for radar detectors and other accessories.

brown = ground
yellow/black = telephone mute
green/black = switched 12v
red/green = unswitched 12v

Is this a factory option? How would I know if my car has one?

All US/Canada cars got the phone prep option.
Sometimes it is half buried under the carpet.
