Default Question LNE IMSB

Does anyone have any info on the latest generation of the LNE replacement IMSB? I recall some posts where it appeared as if there had been some design changes. I am a few weeks away of having work done on the 2004 C2 - the dealer unfortunately ordered in the IMSB a few months ago and I want to make sure I have the latest and greatest.

Questions to LNE are typically responded with "read the website". So I am looking for some real world experience.

Thanks

Did you try calling L and E? I dont know for sure, I have one of the very first ones in. Been there for 30K. I dont really think there has been a lot of change to the design. I think its more in the "how to" and what the current kit is you can get. And the differance in the kit is what tools you get. specifically cam lock tool

Like Kyle said, give them a call. When I did mine I had spoken to them several times and found them to be very helpful.

No significant changes have been made in well over a year.

The changes were made to make the bearing more compatible with the IMS Guardian by adding a steel cage.

Like everything else that my company and LN develop these kits will continually evolve and be made better. Everything can always be improved
