Default decals.. any experience/pics?

I have a midnight blue C2 2003.. was thinking about getting the side graphics, with the line from the front bumper to the checkers on the rear...

what color will look great with midnight blue?

has anyone had any experience with this company/site?

how long do they last? weather proof?

http://www.kistudios.com/carrera-004.html

anyone have any pics of MN blue pcar with this graphic set?

I've considered this for my Midnight Blue Metallic car also. If I ever do it, I'll go with silver or white decals.

I tossed this around with my 03 TT Midnight. I Photo shopped decals and it just it just didn't look good. IMHO.

To ME (and only me) it looked to "boy racer" ish.

Cool

What color is your interior? If it is grey, then perhaps a silver stripe set would look good. In my personal opinion, white is too much contrast.

2010 GT3RS's used red with the dark blue.

Red wheels, red mirrors and red graphics would look sharp over dark blue I think.

I had the "Carrera" red decal on a silver cab, '01........I thought it looked ok, but almost universally people didn't like it, maybe it was too much contrast, if i ever did it again i'd go with low contrasting decal color.

The only car that can get away with high contrast is GT3 or something entirely hooligan, then it looks ok.

And they are tough to get on without bubbles or anything.

the PO of my car had black porsche (positive) stripes; they were the first thing I removed.

that being said, I like the checker stripe idea and depending on the wheel color would try to compliment or match them.

My Carrera 4 is Black, and recently I had the calipers powder coated speed yellow. I finally decided to go with yellow to blend in with the calipers. I had also had the windscreen in yellow, but IMO too much yellow, so I redid the windscreen in wine grey.

I have a black C4S with its windows plastered in white decals, skate companies, snowboard companies, hello kitty etc. It is kind of a love it or hate it thing. As long as you are happy that is all that matters.

Personally I am a little turned off by the stripe, I see it as a GT3RS knockoff type thing.

A few weeks ago I did the chequer pattern on my car. I haven't really been into changing the car for the sake of looks prior to putting the side decals on, but now that it is done I am really happy with it and glad that I decided to go ahead with it.

Here's a pic and there are others on my web site.

That is an interesting comment, since the Carrera decal / vinyl graphic has been around since at least 1974. I know I put it on my '74 911S. The nice thing about the vinyl graphics is that if you don't like it, you can just peel it off

I bought some stripes from this company about two years ago. Product is good.

Installation was pretty straight forward. Just ensure you don't get water on the back of the paper when you peel it off or else that paper will stick to the glue part of the vinyl.

Overall it has held up well; if it begins to look dull, I use Vinylex in the blue bottle.
