Carbon Fiber Repair
My Car has a carbon fiber steeing wheel. Most of the plastic around the carbon fiber is cracked? Is it repairable?

I have had some success on the door sills
Essentially you have to carefully remove the old clear coat and recoat with resin.
Here my thread on doing it.

Not sure I would try on the steering wheel though. The surface geometry presents a challenge.

No I have not been to his shop since 1997. I used to work for Beverly Hills Motoring accessories & he converted stock wheels to wood covered for BHMA. Great craftsmanship. He used to advertise in Hemmings Motor news. I think the shop was called Raul restoration.

Tried it but came up empty handed. I will just drive by there in the next couple of days. I know him from about 5 years ago when one of his neighbors who repairs antique furniture introduced me. If it is ok with him, I will post his contact info
