I don't park in store parking lots. I have an assigned space at work with someone that parks about 4 feet from my door.

Absolutely! I'm not an isolationist but "IF" I drive one of my cars it's way out there for parking. Besides I get to stare at them when walking back to them and admire them.

I don't, but fortunately, I don't have to worry about that too often.

20% is pushing it but then I'll check TWC and see which part of the day it's for.

I often pick the "end" spot ... but maybe my car looks just plain lonely out there all by itself?

I will often park next to a P car (or such) in my truck in order to protect one side of it.

Actually, the few times that has also happened to me (maybe twice), I really think the person was thinking, "If I park next to that Porsche, I know they won't ding my doors", as they were also "nice" cars, not some monster truck.

It STILL cracks me up almost no matter where I stop, whether putting gas in, at a store, whatever..."Hey, NICE car!" "Love your car!" ""I love Porsches" "Some day!!" ..I used to say "It's ten years old, you can buy one like it for $25K"...but I don't anymore. I'd hold out for $30k for mine.

I did too!~ Like I was apologizing for having a NICE car. And she is! Heck 10 years ago my 996 was 91k. I think that I did really well, I got the car I wanted - and bc people are a little buggy about the IMS I was able to get it at a reasonable price. With 37k on the clock I will def have it 10 years or longer - It's incredibly well made. I have been in the dash a couple of times and the attention to detail and proper tolerances for things really impresses me.

The Cayenne driver thought he did a good job I think, lol.

Amazing both drivers were able to just get out & walk away.

It's the same jackass that hugs your bumper all the way down and empty interstate. I think he's lonely.

Nah. Incompetent.

I park that way too - like some have said, good for exercise, good for admiring the lines of the car on the way back to it. I also hate it when someone parks next to you when you do park out in the boonies - drives me crazy.

People just don't care - especially a car full of eager 5-8 year olds in Mom's car at the mall eager to run into the arcade - they swing their door open like it's a battering ram.
