I'd worry more about that little rain cloud hiding behind the mountains in your pic...as soon as you go inside it'll jump out and you'll regret leaving your top down

That's funny! Made my think of another post! "How many of you don't take your Pcar out of the garage if the threat of precipitation is greater than 20%"?

I don't, but fortunately, I don't have to worry about that too often.

Add this to the list of OCD Porsche Owner actions...I gather up loose shopping carts near my car and return them to their corral. Sad.

Btw, my car is at the body shop getting the bumper fixed and repainted and some dings fixed as well. If it comes out good, I think I'll be less concerned with parking lot events because I'll know that they can be easily corrected - just a matter of money.

I park pretty far out in a pretty empty lot. Come out 30 minutes later to find that the lot is still pretty empty, but for some reason someone decides to park RIGHT NEXT TO ME! What the hell! At least leave a space between us, jesus.
That's exactly why I don't do that. There are just enough people who are wise a$$es who will park next to you just because they know it drives you crazy.

Actually, I used to park liked that with my first new car about 25 years ago. Some drunk guy with no insurance plowed right into taking a short cut through the parking lot.

Ever since, I just look for a nice wide spot. Safer that way.

Cool

I use all of the parking tactics stated above, preferably a combination of several. I park out and away, next to an "island" that hopefully has a small tree offering shade and no birds, with the drivers door side in so no jerk can block the door from opening, or up front next to the handicapped spots but NOT actually in front of the main door where shopping carts pass. And, I too, might collect a nearby shopping cart to take in, rather than let it free bird in the wind.

The extra walk is good for me.

I parked at an industrial area parking lot on a Sunday a few weeks ago, the parking lot only had 2 or 3 other vehicles when I got there initially, and I was miles away from them.

This is what I found when I came out a few hours later .........

O.K., I have to admit it: I'm one of those a$$holes that will park next to someone out in the middle of a parking lot when I drive my 12 year old full-size 4x4 truck. I do it just because I know it drives them crazy...
