DIY paint job on side mirror

I'm pleased with myself because I saved a couple hundred bucks. The clear coat was peeling on one of my side mirrors and got an estimate at the body shop. I decided to try and fix it myself. I first just sprayed clear coat (spray can) over the mirror but the exposed base coat turned dark and left a blotch. I did it over using base coat from PaintScratch followed by clear coat. I ordered thru their website according to my color code. I used spray cans. It's a near perfect match and since it not two adjacent body panels it looks perfect. Looks professional. How cool is that?

Well done Dennis. It feels great when you do something yourself and it turns out top class. I just changed the oil and filter on mine plus changed the main air filter as well. No bits found in the oil filter so all is clear so far. I got that warm fuzzy feeling same as yourself.
