Nothing against the WEVO mounts, but why wouldn't you buy the Porsche part instead?

based on recommendation from several people i know. WEVO mounts seem to be better - they transfer less vibrations at idle and they do not fail. nothing against RS mounts, as well. i was only against using liquid glass in the stock mounts instead of oil, it sounds a bit extreme.

Also, the Wevos have individually repalceable pillows, don't they? Since my mounts are not "bad", I could install the Wevos, and if I don't like them, put new stock (or old ones) back in and sell the Wevos. I suspect used Wevos would sell easier, due to the repalceable pillow, than used RS mouns, but I may be wrong.

EDIT: the 997SS mounts do not appear to have replaceable pillows, like the earlier Wevos do. Now I AM confused. If the RS mount is a 964 part, then why wouldn't the (cheaper) replaceable pillow mounts fit the 996? Anyone?

I've had the WEVO mounts in my car for over 2 years now. Noticeable improvement on track. The NVH increase on the road is perceptible, but only barely. I have been very happy with them. Just my 2 cents.

Which Wevos do you have? Blue, Black, or 997SS?
