Default Sprint Booster installed!

Finally got my Sprint Booster installed in my 2002 C4 tonight. Thank you to Chaos and others who provided advice as it wasn't exactly straight foward

However, well worth the effort! The green light isn't too impressive, the but the red is awesome. Big fun and makes the car more like I expected a Porsche to be.

Don't know how it works and don't care - made the car much more fun (if I can just stay out of trouble now :-)).

The installation took me a while to figure out as it actually plugs in under the dash, not by the accelorator like I expected. A little tough to get to, but I am a big guy and that makes it harder.

Happy with the performance. I leave it on red all the time.

Good luck!

I've had mine in my 99C4 for a month and think its the best bang for buck mod I've ever done on a car. Ive got a RHD which i think may be easier to install from the searching I did, i didn't have to remove any panels etc. just had to get on my head under the steering wheel. Well worth the effort.

Cheers

For some reason, there is a great deal of reluctance to try this mod, but I sure love mine. No looking back and no regrets.

Different "curves", the red is the most aggressive, I think some may even have an yellow? In any case a button allows you to switch through no effect to mild to most aggressive, some folks say they just can't use the most aggressive mode unless they are on the track.

My understanding for track cars it was not beneficial as it made it harder to feather the throttle around corners and throttle steer.

Any thoughts?

I thought the Sprint Booster only made sense on automatics?

Box that changes the delay /maping in ethrottles to make your car. "feel" faster ESP in automatics so they hold rpm longer before shift.
Not any real world performance gains just makes you "feel" faster :/

I think the reluctance is because its functionality doesn't sound very impressive. Yet I've only seen positive comments from owners. I will probably give it a try at some point.
