You think that Tiptronic cars don't have gas pedals?

Sure, but your transmission has a bigger say in how the rpm's are interpreted than with a 6sp.

OK, this sounds interesting........

I will go search on sprint booster, (you know, simply to avoid a douchey response, n' shyte).

Where do you get such a device? Or is that too close to getting a douche response, too?

http://www.sprintbooster.com/

There are other on-line stores that sell the product too, but the prices don't vary much at all.

The device has no effect on the transmission, simply changes where e-gas thinks the pedal is so it feels faster with less throttle.

I got mine installed tonight in my 2003 C4S Tip. While it was a total bear to get that far under the dash and reach up there, it added an immediately noticeable "zing" to the car's response. From the way I understand the Tip's "learning" functions, even if the SprintBooster only mimics the pedal being floored all the time, seems to me that it should work in tandem with the learning function to improve driving performance.

Anyway, for the money it's lots of fun, so can't go wrong.
