So I received an invite for the Porsche World Road Show up in Monticello next month where they offer you a 3 hour driving experience, which includes a Lead Follow session, an Autocross session and a Technology Drive (i.e. driving a hybrid).
I have never attended one of these before and am wondering if its worth the trip as its a little more than 2 hours from where I live.
Has anyone ever done one of these thru Porsche and if so, I would love some feedback. Thanks.

My wife and I did this in Singapore in 2010 and it was awesome. Even the wife said so.
The way it was set up is as follows:
The venue was airport tarmac.
Groups of about 8 each led by a German Porsche Instructor
Small course (approx 1km) on which you get drive the Panamera, Cayman and 997. Led by the instructor.
Then a Moose test in a 997 Cabrio with all electronics off and trying to control the car. Instructor sits with you.
Then a Road Test in a Cayenne.
Then a circuit (autocross style) with two slaloms and some twisties thrown in in a Boxster Spyder (hope I have the model right). Fastest time in the group gets a prize![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Count lunch, refreshments and goodie bags and I reckon it was well worth it.
I would do it again just for giggles.
Where else can you drive every model in the line up ***** out with no worries.
Do it, do it, do it.

Yes I did it with the 997.1, they definitely didn't allow the cars to be driven ***** out, but I guess that is dependant on what you consider ***** out.
It was very hard walking away with out an impulse purchase and the sales people and presentations didn't make it easy.

Did you sign up this morning? I tried signing up yesterday but the last registration screen is telling me that all 3 days are full. Just checked and it's still saying they are all full.

I signed up as soon as i received the invite so i wouldn't get left out in the cold. If i decided not to go based upon what everyone else said, i figured i could always go back and cancel it but i'm definitely going as it sound like a great way to spend an afternoon
