Default what is this leak

I noticed backing out of the driveway a trail of drops every few inches. I took off the under belly plastic liner and noticed it was leaking from this tube in the picture circled in red. This was right at the point the middle liner meets with the front liner. Is this the evaporator drainage tube? The tube opens if I pinch the two ends? Is this normal? It was not a hot day at all, around 70 degrees, i usually have the fan set to 73 degrees, never seen this before.

Thanks,

TBAHR

you didn't say what it was leaking.. oil. coolant, what? If its water then I would guess it to be condensation. If its still dripping after you get back to the garage, then you got a problem.

i can not smell anything, looks like water to be honest, no color to it. After I took the liner off and cleaned up the garage floor I noticed it had a little puddle this morning, around 4 inches radius.

My A/C does this when I get the car back into the garage after a long ride. Just condensation (I think)!

If you have climate control on auto it will run the compressor. Which means freon is being pushed through the system. Any humidity in the air will condense on the evap, creating water. IMO that is the drain for your evap/heater box. To confirm this shut the climate control off entirely and there should be no water

IMS bearing for sure. DO NOT drive the car until you have rebuilt the engine.

Thanks everyone for their replies, I will keep off my climate control and drive around and see if it still leaks.

Does anyone know if that tube should be pinched like that? The other drainage tubes are completely round, this one is pinched together.

Oh yeah, I forget to leave a real answer: That "pinched" tube is a drain tube and yes, it's supposed to be pinched like that. I can't tell for sure where under the car that is, but it's either the AC condensor or sunroof drain. You WANT it to be dripping, that means it's draining.
