If someone does not know I am driving a Porsche just by looking at it especially when it has had the same basic shape since 1963 I really don't feel the need to tell them.

Maybe I should move the carrera and the 911 to below the P O R S C H E but that would be copying the 2012 job here.

I personally don't care for the scripting on the new 991. My 2000 Cab came script delete, and I love the clean look. Echoing a previous comment, the general public knows that you're driving a Porsche 911...why be redundant in advertising that fact? As most on this site would I hope tell you, some may think it's in poor taste, or others may think it looks great. The important thing is if it adds to your enjoyment of your 911...then by all means!

It is your car. If you like it then it is good.

I really don't like the P O R S C H E badge on the back of the new 991. It matches those on the Cayenne and Panamera, and on those it is about corporate branding. Without it the Cayenne would be hard to distinguish from many other SUVs on the market. But I really wonder why Porsche felt the need to 'brand' such an iconic car as the 911.

Surprisingly, according to the local dealer customers can order a 991 'badge delete,' but that will only remover the "Carrera/S" and "911" emblems. It is not possible to factory delete the P O R S C H E badge!

Definitely too much on the 991. Just "Porsche" spelled out would be enough for me.
