Default any recommendations on rubber protectant?

Does anyone have any recommendations for a product to restore, preserve and protect components like the baffle at the spoiler, the rear rubber bumper pads, and window trim etc..

Also, I have noticed on some pictures posted that some cars have body color bumpers pads - mine are a black material - not body color. What options or year models variants dictated the material used for the pads?

thanks

J

Armorall. Nothing fancy needed. Just use your favorite external protectant ever time you wash.

It was option to have painted bumperettes.
Bumper Plugs will paint them for you.

No,No,No...
Use AUTOGLYM vinyl & Rubber Care. Can't tell you how good this stuff is. Worked on the plastic cowling under the windshield (wipers too). Us it on all the rubber window molding.
Available at PEP BOYS...
PS made in Britain.

I use Plexus but its primarily for plastics. Not even sure if its got UV blockers. It;s a cleaner, protectant and polish from what the can says. Seems like it has silicone in it.

SSST I always stay away from armorall since at least in the old days it washed out protectants by penetrating deep then you'd always have to reuse the armorall. Darn stuff always seemed to look too oily also. Didn't like the original smell at all.
