Default First Porsche/996

I've been lurking a bit and since I just picked up my first Porsche this past Thursday I thought I'd post a photo or two and introduce myself.

My name is Tony and I live in Half Moon Bay, California. I'm a long time motorcyclist and tinkerer of cars/bikes.

I just purchased a 1999 Cab in Artic Silver and have already generated a decent enough shopping list for it that the wife is questioning my sanity.

Anyways, onto the pics. Sorry about the crap quality.

Nice cab. I've had mine for 4 years now and I love it.
My wife has given up asking about the stuff that I buy for it.
Have fun with your new toy.
Cheers.

Very nice cab. You should enjoy it Welcome to Rennlist When I was a teenager living in the Mission in San Francisco (early 60s), we would hitch hike to Half Moon Bay to the drag races We always had an incredible time

Very low miles. The drive up the PCH and thru wine country must have been a great way to break in the new wheels.

Welcome Tony! Good looking ride. Something about a Cab makes you feel even more connected to the car.

Welcome to your new obsession. That looks like a very well cared for car.

I think the cabs are underrated by the purists. Any car where you can jack up the rear end and the front end comes off the ground is stiff enough.

Mine already goes around corners faster than I can turn the wheel.
