GT3 Cup lip Spoiler / Splitter

Not sure if the turbo lips are exactly the same holes as GT3's but for some reason, the expansion rivets aren't listed for Turbo Lip that I can find.
They do list it for GT3 lip though: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-05/802-00.php
Look at item 4 for expansion rivets.
If I'm understanding you correctly, I think this is what you mean?
FWIW, I found out hardware stores like Home Depot and Menards also carry expansion rivets if you end up losing a couple in the future.

I'm not sure you can properly fit a turbo Splitter onto a C2 bumper. I could be wrong, but it is a totally different design.

The Turbo/4S doesn't use the anchors. The splitter fits into a slot that traverses the entire bumper cover and is held into place on the ends with two screws inside the fender.

Okay just my 2 cents!...there are splitters from porsche for the turbo and 4 and 4s models, hence that style of bumper. Then there are splitters for the aero kit 2 and gt3 style bumpers, one of those is called the cup splitter and is distingushed by the way it wraps around to the wheel well opening.the regular gt3/aerokit spoiler does not.The motorsports cup splitter happens to cost less, dont ask me why?its less material, anyway they are made from a flexible material some sort of polyplastic and are designed to flex and give, and believe me there gonna get a little banged up,even the clips and the adhesive strips will give way if they are stressed enough, better the splitter than the bumper cover being damaged,in a way these parts are expendable, not cheap, but in the porsche world relatively not to bad.my parts guy always try to keep these in stock, they are replaced quite often. My car is lowered and its hard not to scrap them.but they also act as protection for the bumper as well.the fact that someone is making these aftermarket in fiberglass is ridiculous ,anyway good luck....p.s mine is a cup splitter on a aero kit 2/GT3 bumper

My car is a 2004 Anniversary Edition wich is a C2 that has a Turbo nose on it and MKII side skirts from factory. That is why I am swapping out the C4 splitter for the more aggresive Turbo splitter and I was told to attatch the new splitter I need 15 of these rivots.

Hmmmm. It seems like there is some conflicting info here.

According to SSST, turbo lip is only attached by screws at the ends. Don't see any expanding rivets in the diagrams for the turbo lip either. Who told you it used 15 rivets? You sure they weren't talking about gt3 lip?

I didn't realize the 40 had the TT/4S bumper. You don't need mounting hardware. You probably have the 4S splitter, but it attaches the same way.
There is a screw on each end of the splitter inside the fender well. Just remove the two screws and start pulling straight out from either end.
To install the new splitter, just reverse the process. I've done it twice. It took 10 minutes the first time because I didnt know what to expect and was being really careful. Took 5 minutes the second time.
Once you see how it works you will be amazed at the simplicity of it.
Post a picture once its done. Good luck.

Thanks 996PP! I just put on a FabSpeed MaxFlo carbon fiber intake and a B&M SSK. Waiting on my leather center console to come in from Classic 9. I agree on the coil overs. I have been tracking the car quite bit lately and really feel I need to do something. Any recommendations? Thoughts on H&R springs. vs coil overs? I have new Bilstein Heavy Duties that the previous owner put on seems a shame to toss them if I could do a good spring set.

I have PSS9's with H&R sways bars. My car is stiff as a stick but its still my daily driver. Ive heard alot of good feedback on H&R srpings. I personally like the adjustable coil overs just for the thought that they're easier to tweak to your preference if needed.
