I think it looks amazing!

However, I can't imagine the carbon fiber is going to last very long - or look all that good for long - in that location.

There's no brand for this exhaust. It's custom made from some local guy who worked at well-known exhaust company on porsche department. He also made carbon fiber tail-pipes. Yes, I was also wondering if they will discolor or get burned but he told me that carbon fiber is made with special heat resistant epoxy resin with process called "vacuum infusion" and cured in owen... On the inner side CF "sleeve" there is also temeperature isolation which prevent heating CF and at the back side where CF sleeve is attached there are also holes for coolling the space between inner tube and CF sleeve during ride...
I run this exhaust aprox. 1 month with no color-changes on CF.
Everything is realy made with perfection and also tubes are TIG welded and during welding tubes were filled with gas(argon) to prevent weld oxidation inside the tube. So at the inner side of the tube welds are totaly flat.

Cool info. Maybe your friend can start producing carbon fiber sleeves for other exhaust tips, ymmv.
