Well...it seems I accidentally bought an RSS 930 bar from a fellow rennlister. It is sitting in the garage just begging to be installed. Then wouldn't you know it, about a week later I accidentally ordered 2 OMP ARS seats and G-Force 6 point harnesses! My wife has so far been very understanding. I mean, accidents happen right?

I have two mounting choices:
Brey Kraus brackets mounted to stock manual sliders
OMP brackets and OMP sliders

Just looking for feedback on other 996 folks with aftermarket seats. I'm leaning towards the OEM sliders because I can use the GT3 anti sub mount. I'm not sure if there are any options when using the OMP sliders other than drilling holes and bolting some eyes to the floor for the sub strap.

There is a new seat bracket company out called Planted and I highly recommend them. Pricing is good, quality is incredible and the guys really know their stuff. Much higher quality than any of the Wedge Engineering brackets or other companies brackets.

Those look nice but I can't tell if I just need the side mounts or if I would also need the seat brackets if I'm just mounting to OEM sliders. Also not sure if the factory anti-sub mounts will work.

Going to ask them also but wondering if you knew?

Figured I'd update the thread.

I talked with Dan at 425 Motorsports aka Planted and he told me about a new version of their side mounts that are made to specifically address my use case! These aren't on their site yet but they have them ready to ship. Ordered and on the way at a much better price than the Brey Krause brackets.
