I was looking for a new cylinder head for my 99 and there is a w/o and w/emis.
Does anyone know what this is reffering to?

Thanks

emis must be short for emissions so w/o must be without secondary air injection passageways in exhaust ports

You need the USA head with sec. air injection (sai ) to match the other head unless it is a track car with sai removed. I would call or e-mail Flat6innovations to buy a used or rebuilt head.

With emis ( yiddish translation, "emis" means truth)...don't think they meant that......then it could have been "tsimmis"...those crunchy bits of chicken skin....probably didn't mean that either....so, my guess would be emission related..........

For US and Canada cars you will need the "w/emis".
US and Canada cars got stricter emissions (i.e. air pumps).
