Im moving along with my 3.8 unpgrade and I need to know if the 3.8 injectors are compatible with my 3.6 fuel rails. Obviously im jumping from 996 parts to 997 parts. I spoke to Suncoast and the parts guy told me he thought the 3.6 injectors were the same as the 3.8s so now im even more confused. Ive been following Logans thread about his upgrade and he seems to have a lean issue while using his 3.4 injectors on his newly built 3.6. I am trying to avoid any problem with my system so before I buy the 3.8 injectors I need to know if they will be compatible.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I sent you a PM on this, but I too would be interested to know for certain.

In short, I guess it would depend on whether the 3.6 and 3.8L injectors are the same dimensions, then you could just put the 3.6L orings on the 997 injectors.

3.6L injector orings
94411090101 7.5mm x 3.5mm oring (rail & riser)

3.8L injector orings

Here are my notes from when I was looking.

To me, it looked like it would work, but I didn't want to buy a 3.8 injector and return it if it didn't work, plus I found a killer deal on the 3.6L injectors.

Thanks bud... I have a few calls in to LN and my mechanic. The injectors are $120 each. I do not want to buy them unless im sure they'll work without any modification.
