I would try posting on renntech as they are the place for DIY and people who work on their cars. Good luck I think it's the motors if you hear a click then there should be power going in.

Hey, does your Boxster have power seats as well? If so you can use parts off that seat to troubleshoot. I always did this between my audi a6 and allroad. I'd pull the seat out and check the wiring underneath to make sure everything is connected, etc..

And what is all this talk about nobody in here is a DIY'er? Non-Sense!

No the boxster is not power. Great idea though.
I just replaced the aos in my 996 with success!
Now for the seat. Still need help here!
