Ordered the Continental DWS - seemed to be the most bang for the buck for the type of driving I do and the conditions I seem to find myself in here.

I've got the Conti DWS on the Cayenne, and they're excellent in that application. I'll be interested to see how you like them on the 996.

+1. You can't beat the price. I would give them an B+ or A- in everyday street performance... and they are not bad in the Seattle wet, either. They are WAAY better than my Bridgestones and about par with the Michellin PS in the wet.

I have had 3 sets of Sumis 3's. Had them on the street and the track. Learned alot on the track with these..really made me learn the car. This past summer I went to Pilot Super Sports. What a tire! For street driving the Sumis are #1 for use and $$$.
