Can you tell me how much you paid for the timing chain and chain guide replacement.
How many hours the mechanic asked to perform the repair

Offcourse; he worked a total of 28 hours for disassemble and assemble the engine.
This means taking off the whole exhaust system, valve covers, 2 oil pumps, and the solenoids. After this was taken off, both sides of the camshafts were disassembled from the engine. The camshaft chains were replaced on both sides.

Both Chain guides: 47$ (~ €36)
Both camshaft chaines: 79$ (~ €60)
2 Selonoids: 481$ (~ €365)
