I have a set of coilovers enroute for my C4 Cab. I'm looking for the right stance. Post up some pics...

I'll try to post mine later, but I think the X73/74 is the perfect ride height for these cars. Its a 1" drop from the standard US ride height.

Too low and it doesn't look right.

This while driving. While standing still the front fender (bottom of lip) is 25" to the ground.

I would agree with 25 inches to the fender lip .. leaves about one finger space to top of the tires front & rear. Much lower and drive way become hazards.

After I first installed my PSS9's I brought it to a local speedshop with instructions to leave me some room to navigate the daily driving jungle.

This instruction was ignored and the car was lowered to where he set up his race cars. That's the silver and black shot.

A month later my wife banged the rocker on a curb and since I was constantly worrying about scraping my bottom anyway, I had it raised a bit to where you see it alongside the Carmine red 911 there.

I like it at this height...it gives me about 1/8" to clear the curb at work with my front bumper.

edit - HEY! post #996!

my old C2 on H&R RSS Clubsport coilovers. Set at the bottom of the European spec MKI GT3 ride height range.

105mm front / 115mm rear

**note** in knowing what I know now after playing around with heights and it's effect on the car at the track the cars handle better with a little more rake in the chassis. Should have at least 15mm, my GT3 has 20mm of rake at present and rotates much better than the C2 did.

Probably the nicest coilover I've driven on. They are aggressive but surprisingly comfortable for a daily driver.

I'm at a hair below 25" ground-to-fender on my C4S with JIC coilovers. Low enough to look good, but high enough to rip on it still.
