Lowered 996s in Here
#7
After I first installed my PSS9's I brought it to a local speedshop with instructions to leave me some room to navigate the daily driving jungle.
This instruction was ignored and the car was lowered to where he set up his race cars. That's the silver and black shot.
A month later my wife banged the rocker on a curb and since I was constantly worrying about scraping my bottom anyway, I had it raised a bit to where you see it alongside the Carmine red 911 there.
I like it at this height...it gives me about 1/8" to clear the curb at work with my front bumper.
edit - HEY! post #996!

my old C2 on H&R RSS Clubsport coilovers. Set at the bottom of the European spec MKI GT3 ride height range.
105mm front / 115mm rear
**note** in knowing what I know now after playing around with heights and it's effect on the car at the track the cars handle better with a little more rake in the chassis. Should have at least 15mm, my GT3 has 20mm of rake at present and rotates much better than the C2 did.
