Default Happy New Year!!! Another newbie ...

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking around this awesome forum for a while now, but have never really introduced myself properly. I have a black / black 2001 996 Carrera 4 manual coupe, which I bought 5 years ago at 50k miles and have since put another 50k on it. The car is a daily driver and has been great. I am looking to keep it another couple of years and then hopefully move to a 997.2 4S PDK. I have attached some pictures of my car which have been slightly modified by my girlfriend.

I am looking to freshen up the suspension in the near future. So far I have bought two top mounts and bearings, front coffin arms and sway bar bushes. I would also like to get 4 new struts but since I do not want to lower the car or make it much stiffer (due to very poor Bulgarian roads) I am currently looking at getting Bilstein B4's. Has anyone had any experience with these shocks.

Yavor

Congrats and welcome. Curious if there are anymore interior CF pieces to complement the center console?

Great pics... Thanks for sharing.

Can you tell me about the wheel, shifter, and handbrake lever? Is it a suede or alcantara?
How's it holding up?

Hi,

There aren't any more carbon pieces in the car. The centre console was scratched in a few places so I had it covered in genuine carbon fiber.
