I just realized that my bypasses won't probably pass at Laguna Seca on Tuesday... Wonder if I could add some small round mufflers before that.... Anyone done Laguna with bypasses?

Had to put my mufflers back on today for the same reason. Lame and a big pain.

Some tracks have noise restrictions, so the mufflers may be required. Some tracks (Gingerman, for example) don't allow any noise during "church hours" on Sundays.

Sound limit for Tuesday's event is 92db

I have PSE style modified mufflers on my car and doubt it would pass if I hammered it from turn 5-6 past the sound shack.
Short shift after turn 5, stay to the left of the track, and/or stay in a group,of cars as you go past the sound shack.

PSE and catalytics pass sound. Make sure your intake is not the open kind. That adds to the sound.

Mufflers without cats don't pass and vice versa. They have more than one sound measuring location now

I wonder why they have such restrictive sound requirements? If I remember correctly, Laguna Seca is in the middle of nowhere.

The rich people complained after they built their mansions around the existing track.
