I bet most of the 7k was the crane to lift the car on to the flat bed.

Wow, you could have that car shipped to europe with 7k

I think that it will be totalled even if you want to repair it.

I just found out the insurance is going to pay the $7,000.00 tow bill. Do you think they will include that money in the estimate? It sounds like they're very focused on getting it repaired. THERE HAS BEEN 0 TALK ABOUT FULL TOTAL LOSS
FROM ANYONE!

I'm having to tow it to Inskip in RI. The insurance would have covered the tow to RI if it weren't for the outrageous first tow.
They're also saying that they will only pay MA labor rates. Sounds like they're already starting to fudge on the claim to me.

Oh well, that's life in the fast lane.

So, full total.
All the parts that are broken at the pics, and guessing the front suspension damage roughly 5k usd on the parts. And this will be lower than it will be. Allso prices are from PET so I think that those are dealer prices.
All the pody parts must be painted.
Body must be checked in body robot or similar. full day's job. Dont know how much they charge in the states.
Fixing the car reguires lot's of welding and cutting. And if some one rammed you at 50mph, the frame is bent and need's to be straightend.

So my questimate for the total costs is over 15k usd. Let us know when you know the real figures.
