Default carbon fiber air outlet warping : idea aside of glue ?

My air outlet have the porsche oem carbon finish and over time they warped out of shape. I removed them to see what I could do to fix it.

I doubt glue will work but that will be my last resort, anybody had success fixing those ? or idea ? I think I need to put a rivet on top to fix it for good but that would look fugly so... I am open to suggestions

Why would you think a good quality glue would not work. I fixed these same pieces on my friends car with glue and it has help for several years now.

That would be my guess as I believe epoxy resin is always used to bond the carbon fibers. Saw duplicate part for sale recently at good price, either a forum or maybe E-bay.

I've seen carbon fiber bikes repaired this way, but usually that is carbon weave to carbon weave.

I think it was glued on in the first place. There are definitely adhesives out there that can stand up to whatever the Florida sun pushes their way.

you will need a heat gun to help reshaping that. then use epoxy

get a window heat shield to protect your dash.
