Interesting....What is the thickness of film, how long will it keep repairing itself and how we will it hold up in 110 degree temps?

It's 8 mils (.008 inch) thick, as are most other films on the market. As long as the clear coat remains on the product (i.e. not sanded or buffed off, or scratched all the way through), it will continue to heal. That's the nature of this kind of elastomeric polymer clear coat.

The film is good up to 310 degrees F, so 110 is no challenge at all.

Yeah, I tried. Problem was trying to get the light just right so you could actually see what was going on with the scratches etc. and see the clock at the same time when zoomed out where both were in frame. Then I realized, heck you can see the clock in the reflection and decided to go with that.

Coming soon to an installer in Toronto. Seriously, we have a large new distributor in Montreal who services that area. Let me know if you need a referral and I can put you two together.

What's the typical installed cost range to put this stuff on the hood and front quarter panels on a 996?

Hey I'm kinda close to you guys in Austin. Can you PM me the same info (typical cost for 996 hood and front end).

Also, I already have plenty of rock chips on the hood and bumper up front. Any issues applying the film over these?
