I took the car home (didn't finalize the paper work yet) and guess what ? I've got a bit of clearance issue - see the picture. My driveway is pretty steep and I've got only about 0.5" space or so. If I drive straight up,

Do it. We only live once... If it's in your budget and wife approves should be a no brainer. Buy a few replacement splitters and buy that joker. I would , but manual for me pls...

Seriously though, my '99 with the Aero kit scrapes on my driveway unless it get the angle just right. I have learned to adapt to the needs of the car.
As to your original question, as long as you're comfortable with the cost, do it!

make them throw in a painted front spoiler and store it till your ready to sell...then mount the one you trashed on that driveway on the garage wall like a trophy!
