Default 996 Exhaust Tips

Hello,

Hey guys I was thinking what style tips look the best on our 996's quad tip or dual tips and why? The reason I bring this up is because the new 991 is coming out and has dual square tips which looks very nice in my opinion.

So do you think Porsche is heading back to a classic with their exhaust tip design?

I kinda like the quad tip but don't like how you can see the single pipe behind them. Mine has the oval tips and although not my favorite I think they are ok since they match the bumper cover.

Hey Airrik, the dual style tips look great and really give the 996 rear end a newer and more aggressive look. The tips alone are $375 and I will make you member price if you are interested. PM me for pricing and if you have any questions.

Thanks for the feedback pmkazz, I'm glad you like them. Enjoy
Thanks,

I think the half oval tips look good in the rear bumper cut outs.

Hey Alex no justice on those tips for the C4S?

I really like the way those look but I guess they wouldn't bolt up to a 2003 C4S with PSE? Any alternatives?

Alex those aren't bad I wonder if I change the rear bumper will they still fit. Spiderv6, I have seen those before on other 911's around town here, there elegant looking.

As long as the new bumper is designed with the stock tip cutout location, you will have no problems. I have customers who used the dual style tips with aftermarket bumpers and said it was fine, as long as its the same width and shape.
thanks,

Those are the tips I have with the GT3TEK rear skirt, tight fit but workable...

Like the clean look of equipment, forms to the bumper better I think.
