Updates to my 996 lots of pics
Bumpers
Wheel Spacers, 15mm front and 22mm rear
Front Right
Front Left
Rear Right
Rear Left
Painted all the calipers and put Porsche Stickers on them I got on eBay

It's a daily driver and can handle the bumps and road conditions I come across on my way to work. I have a buddy that has coil overs and 19" rims on his 996 and his car rides very hard but looks great. I'd rather feel good than look good.

looks great
your buddy's car probably rides rough from the wheel selection more than the spring selection...lowering the car correctly wont make it ride very much different, dont rule it out based on THAT comparison, ride/drive another one with 18" wheel/tires
