ive considered getting the 200 cel cats but im worried it will make the car to loud.. kind of a hard question but how much louder will it make the car? i have a set of m&k mufflers which are fairly aggressive on their own.. i was going to go with some evoms headers first and see how that turns out..

Thanks for the feedback guys. The 200 Cell Sport Catalytic converters actually flow better then the 100 Cell version, that's why most manufactures are using them now. The reason is, a 100 Cell Cat has about 2-3 pins that must go through the entire cat at different angles to keep the Cat core from collapsing on its self and coming loose. A 100 cell Cat is not as strong due to less cells, so the pins keep it from moving, but it causes a flow restriction, due to their size. We have tested them on a flow bench and the 200 Cell version flows better and is more durable. It also helps keep the CE Light off better and is more compliant with emissions and inspection.

My only real comment I can come up with is I'm curious to how much cross flow really happens with this x-pipe. I'm heavily considering one myself but I'm a little concerned by the lack of cross section area where the exhausts merge together. No doubt the videos on-line are exactly the sound I'm after and it's music to my ears for sure but I'm never one to do something without knowing it's the right direction for performance as well.
In stock form the exhaust is routed across the back of the car to the other side, with this x-pipe the cross section seems small enough that the majority of those gases would appear to now be doing a 180 and headed back to the same side of the car vs. the opposit side on the stock system. Still with a balace point in the center where they can mix though. I'd love to see a cut apart of the merge point to see the internals to get a better idea of flow characteristics. The FVD unit has a much larger cross section area for gases to mix.

you read all kinds of funny stuff on the internet... 200 cell flow better than 100? maybe cheap 100's but if you get good 100's a 200 can't match the top end flow... nor does it produce the sound volume that a 100 can dish out...

The new design we will be releasing in the next few weeks will be a modular setup. So you will be able to switch between Sport Cats and Catbypass Pipes on the fly depending on your application. The system is a direct bolt on fit and will allow for more adjustability with different exhaust and setups.
Speedyellow, we had a fit issue with owners running the Sport Cats with PSE Mufflers which have longer inlets, so we needed to cut our pipes shorter for these mufflers. But the issue was corrected and you will have no problems bolting it right on.
Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.
