Got my "Fister modded" 3.4 cans
Looking forward to install them this weekend, and see how it sounds....
3.4 cans with 1 7/8 pipes.
The amigo down the road charged me 60 bucks for the weld job, he said it was a royal pain to make the holes on the mufflers.

WOW !!
This is how the car should sound from factory !!
I was a little concerned when I drove it around (not enough vrooom inside the cabin), but then I let my friend rev it up standing still, and then do a drive by while gunning it (I was outside the car)......HO-LY CRAP !
I love it !!

You bet, cannot beat the 60 bucks.....pipes included....I just showed him the pictures from another forum member and I told him "I want this"....he said "80 dollars".....I said "60".....he said "OK"...next day I picked them up.....the pics in this post are mine, I installed them this morning......
It took me about 2 hours, including rum and coke and cigarrette breaks....

That's good to know - I was thinking of doing this but didn't want to ship my cans. Did you supply the new piping? I may do the same - do you know the size of the new pipes and do you still have a link to the other pictures? I would like to get this done, and the more details (sizes of pipes & angle etc.) and pictures the better. Thanks!

No, he provided the pipes.
I just showed him the pics.....download and print the pics I posted, bring it to the shop (preferably a mom and pop, not a major muffler chain). And tell them " I want this, use as close to a 2 inch pipe as possible".
If the guy knows what he is doing, he will do it without issues...make sure you tell him the pipes should be located like the picture, to avoid interference with anything else while installing.
