Default Recommended Clutch For 2000 996 Cabriolet

Hey there,

What clutch would you guys recommend for the 3.4l 996 Carrera Cabriolet? I'm mainly deciding between the SPEC Stage 2 and the oem Sach's clutch.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Nice first post and presentation!

Where's the pics?

about the clutch...
it depends on how you use the car...
Daily driver? weekend toy? DE or autocross?

For most use, I'd say OEM is fine.

Haha thanks.

I don't really have any pics. But for your imagination it's a Polar Silver cabriolet with sport package.

It's a weekend toy, sometimes used for drag racing and hopefully road racing track events soon. But we still want to maintain the feel of a stock clutch when just casually driving.

We were also more aiming toward OEM.

Thanks,

The stock clutch is more than capable of handling any DE's you may decide to participate in!

Pics are required unless you want to get beat up by the RL pic ****'s

Unless you plan to put a Space Shuttle rocket booster in the rear end, OEM will do just fine.

The OEM will be great... I have used an OEM clutch in my race car and have no issues.
