Default 996 on Craigslist - "KBB $20,000" - Really?

Funny ad. I don't think KBB price for a car in this condition is really $20k.

I would rather have this...at least it's "restored"

http://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/cto/2518153042.html

1962 VW Beetle restored except paint and interior
Basically the car needs paint and interior and it's done

That car needs some restoration just to bring it up a condition that is good enough to scrap.

Or where is a car crusher when you really need one?

Sincerely,

Macster.

For 6K if that was local, I would ****** it up if the engine was OK and running. Cheap paint job and I would flip it. I see profit in that if you can get it for 6K.

you are smoking something....5 bucks says it has a salvage title and with a Maaco paint job I bet it would be easy as pie to sell.....

that's the plan the owner there had I bet till he found out there was too much work and not enough return on that little GEM
