In cabin air filter.
I can't believe I didn't research a bit better but after I've purchased and installed a $82 filter I find this today on Amazon.com.

I ordered one yesterday evening for my ML430 and it stated on the screen "normally ships within 1 to 2 months" , what!? lol! I guess I can wait. My ML charcoal filter came up to $20 shipped........(1 to 2 months from now...lol)

I feel just as dumb. I didn't overpay for mine, it's just the fact that I replaced it at all. I have a cabrio...that I always drive with the top down. The filter is pointless for me.

A quick follow up, my filter arrived today instead of the 1 to 2 month wait. Also, this filter came with black and white photo instructions of the interior of an ML that illustrates how to install the filter. My $82 Porsche filter included no instructions.
