Default Intake Manifold to Intake Riser Torque Specs

In the final stages of assembly after a valve job among other work.

I can't find the torque spec for the intake manifold to intake riser on a 1999 996 C2.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, yes I have a copy of the work shop manual and that specification.

I believe that is the intake riser to the head, which I've already fastened.

I actually need what goes on top of that. The black plastic manifold (with the green o rings) to the intake riser.

Thank you.

I thought that is what you were asking, I can't find the spec either.

What is annoying is the section in the fuel manual that covers the intake distributor lists the bolts just like it does in other parts of the manual. But under install notes there is not a torque value listed, just blank.

Perhaps I should just treat it like any other generic M6 fastener, and torque to 7.5 ft lbs. I don't want to damage the green o-rings.

If they have o-rings, than yeah, you wouldn't need to torque them that much anyway. I would stick with the 7.5
