Default Few quick pic's of my new wheels

19" Rennen M Mesh forged monoblock's. I dropped about 10 lbs total unsprung weight with this move and noticed the improved difference in performance right away. They are finished with a brushed face and gloss black windows, then clear coat. Spec's are:

Front 19 x 8.5 ET 40 ~21 LBS, Pirelli 235/35/19
Rears 19 x 11 ET 58 ~22 LBS, Pirelli 305/25/19

The offsets are about as aggressive as you want to get it on a 996 C2 without rubbing or modded fenders. I'm lowered to GT3 height on JIC Coilovers.

How do you like the way it rides with that wheel/tire setup?

Educate me please. The only thing that looks like my 2000 996 C2 is the roof line!

What are the F&R bumpers and side skirt/rocker panels?

Thanks,

mark

This is a nice weather street car for me. For that type of use this setup is a bit stiff but still more than O.K. My route to/from work is fairly smooth with long straights and sweepers. This setup feels good in that environment. If I did a lot of canyon runs or track, I'd go to a set of 18's instead...so it depends on the road conditions that you normally drive. Also, these tires are great in the dry, not so much in the wet...I leave it home if it looks like rain and don't drive it much in the winter.

Thanks Ferd. Yeah, I love the concave monoblock look, the color scheme and the bump in performance...count me in the happy camper group

Thanks. They pretty much let you choose your offsets (within reason) so you can get as aggressive as you like.

Thanks. It's a GT2 style wing made for a C2

Hi Mark,

It's a 2003 so I have the different headlight's which started in 2002. The front bumper is a OEM 996 Turbo bumper which fits right on to the 02-04 C2. The side skirts are TechArt style 996 skirts for a narrowbody C2. The rear bumper is a Turbo style bumper designed to fit a narrowbody C2. The skirts and bumpers can be sourced from Precision Porsche.

Thanks fasteddie. My car was (supposed to be) setup to 996 GT3 suspension spec (Camber, Caster, Toe, Height) See below for ride height details
