My plan is to move into a 997 in the next year or two. Any ideas on a ballpark value for my P-Car?
Just turned 57k miles. No issues at all. Just usual oil, tires, etc.
I put about 8k miles per year on the car. Any advise?

40th Anniversary only had a few options. This has all of them:
- CD Changer
- Bose
- Navigation
- Power Seats
- Rear Wiper

If I had to guess, I'd go with a 2004 year (40th anniversary), 57k miles and 40th anniversary silver. ![Embarrassment](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
I'd imagine your car may be worth in the 28-32k range next year with ~65k miles, or about a grand more than that today.

Well I've owned several of these, but am by no means an expert. I will say that I'd much rather own a clean 40th anniversary 996 than a 997 MK1 Carrera.

The latest Excellence appraises the 996 /7 Carreras. Really broad estimates - and the $0th is not called our spicifically... but my guess using their 2005 C4S #s is more like $30 to $43k range.

5 of these listed here at around $50k asking prices: http://ucl.porsche.de/ucl/plsql/usa/...M04AUV&styp_=s
Most have lower miles. 996 asking prices are going up.

I would agree. You might get a little more with a private sale but not much. I just sold my 40th with 69200 miles on it. I sold it to a broker because I did not have the time to sit around. I picked up a 07 997TT with 13k on it.

from Porsche
40 Jahre - 1370 kg
997 Turbo cab - 1748 kg (without PDK which add MORE!)
so you want a nearly 400 kg heavier car![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)
(that's over 800 pounds!)
sorry, I have no interest in heavier even if more powerful.....I am looking at going the other dirrection
