I agree I think they need to practice there seemed to be more rounds falling short than hitting the car.

Yes this seems incredibly wasteful and stupid but no more so than Hollywood destroying classic irreplaceable cars while making stupid movies. There are a finite number of Chevelles, Chargers, etc. (even 996's).
