Is a 996 GT3 Shifter box same as Factory SS?

I have 997 Box in my 996 right now, looking to get Factory SS, wondering if the shifter box that comes in the 996 GT3 is the same thing as Factory SS... Let me know. Thanks

I love the Box in my buddies 997.2 GT3RS (Previous 997.1 GT2), i belive thats they are the same as Factory SS, correct?

996 GT3 has a regular shifter not an SS

997 GT3 has again a regular shifter.

The SS is not installed in any GT3. *thankfully

The 997 GT3 shifter is the same as the regular 997 shifter(15% shorter throw than 996 shifter) but with metal bushings instead of plastic. $350 from Suncoast

Only the 997.2 GT3 has an upgraded shifter.

The 997.1 GT3 used the regular 997 shifter as all the 7 series cars did.

yea i wanna get one too, after diving my buddies 997.2 GT3RS that Box is perfect!!
