Got mine yesterday too. A couple light scratches on the edges, but no big deal. I used silicone as mentioned on one of the posts. Wished I would have used something a little heavier because the fit is not perfect. I ended up using painters tape to hold them on while they dry. They look nice and tie in the other metal finishes like the door and glove box handles.

^^^ thanks for the pics. Fitment seems pretty good from the pics. I'll probably wait til it gets a bit warmer so the silicone can dry easily. Nice Pedals too. Recently got some myself.

Not sure if Testors is UV resistant since its a hobby paint.
My personal fav is Duplicolor's Ultra Silver. It has one of the most metallic content out of the silvers appropriate for these types of applications.
Of course if you want less pop, regular silver Duplicolor paint would be ok too.

Ok the Ultra Silver will provide more of a polished aluminum/chrome look for the rings. I was planning on giving it an alumalook type finish, but maybe you're right and the polished metal will look better.

I found a web page that does a good job with some different silvers, including the Ultra Silver. Note on that site, it doesn't pop as much due to the lighting. In bright sunlight, more of the metallic flakes will sparkle more.

I've used the Testors Diamond dust on my shifter trim and last weekend I painted my ashtray-delete console piece as well. They both look great especially in the sunlight due to the metal flakes and they add a little more bling to my otherwise black interior. I did add a few coats of clearcoat to add some durability and I'm hoping they will stand up to the wear given the location.
I'm planning on painting my guage rings the same when they come in, followed by the trim around the radio. So far I've been very happy with the paint although it is pretty soft. I'll post pics after I've finished but it will take a few weeks.

Looks like a Ecliptech sequential shift light... Been thinking about adding one of them to my C2. Easy to install, reasonably priced, and the seem to fit the 996 cockpit quite well.
$165.
