Yes indeed. It was the most fun I've had working on this car to date. I may have had it at 14lbs...it "GUSHED" as you said. Maybe some air in the pipes yes...which is probably why you said 10lbs, but regardless it worked great. Perfect.

Glad it worked for you. Yea, you only need a few PSI. In fact, I only used a rubber flap on my air hose outlet and used my hand to press the rubber flap against the reservoir neck. I modulated the pressure by leaving the rubber flap not completely sealed. Really no need to have the system air tight when adding air to purge the coolant.

Mercedes coolant flush was 110 at dealer and double at the Porsche dealer.
