Pinion bearing, ignition switch, air bag light, RMS, all being fixed.
Just venting. First the airbag light about 5 years ago, Fixed it with black tape. Ignition started getting hard to turn about 6 months ago. Final straw is the whining in the transmission that developed last month. Pinion bearing gone bad.
Looks like I have most problems that are inherent to these cars.
IMS is probably next.
Now I was dumb enough to buy a 996 race car to add to the misery.
