Awesome! That's not the one I was considering, but how very cool!

FWIW we did end up buying my brother's Cayman S. Love it! ..although I find myself not driving it enough because I want to "keep it nice". Meh...I'll get over that.

doug no offense, but you did this on a 964. bought cheap and got burnt and had to sell it after you had repairs etc. may i suggest wait 6 months or a year or whatever time frame and save more money to buy a very good example then one that fits into your bottom budget.

We all have budgets but cheap porsches costs more in teh long run then spending a little more up front!!

I have '02 targa with 54K miles - no top issues. Mechanically rest of car is same as Carerra - so far mostly minor annoyances like indicator switch, cruise control switch, radio, oil pressure sender ....
