Default New To Me 99 996

Hey all,
Wanted to share a few pics of my newly acquired DD. It's a 99 model purchased with 88K on the odometer. So far so good, I am really liking the A/C compared to what was called an A/C on my 911 SC. These pics were taken after I got done replacing the rotors and pads, a very EASY DIY. I added the Valentine 1, and smoked lenses up front. BTW, has anyone lowered just the front? I bought the H&R springs and would like to decrease the wheel well gap, but I assume lowering the back would cause some serious rubbing issues because of the 19's. Is it possible to lower just the front and not suffer from the imbalance? TIA for your replies.

Looks like a nice, clean ride for 88K miles. Welcome to the group, and lots of luck and smiles over the coming miles.

I like those wheels, too.

It's a fun car to drive.

I purchased the rims from "wheel dynamics" they are the 808 series...you can't beat them for non-track daily driver duty..

Congrats on new ride! I will suggest if you drop car you should do both front and back. What about coilovers?

thanks...i am actually leaning towards leaving it as is...i don't want to go through all the trouble of replacing the springs just to find out what i already know will happen...rubbing..the more i look at it, the more i accept the trade off...hind site being 20x20, i should have done 18's..
